i think kirk may play 1.d4 against me (i could be wrong...he could exclusively play 1.e4) but i don't think i'm wasting my time working onthe nimzo...i l ike the idea of a ...d6,...Nc6/Nbd7 then trying to force ...e5 through. i saw a nice game by eugenio torre where he played 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nc3 Bb4 4.Qc2 d6 and i was inspired. maybe i can castle first, but i like the idea of ...d6 and ...e5 as opposed to my normal ...c5,...d5, ...b6 in the nimzo. i'll have to take a look
